If you still have the install disc, you can use it to load on another computer.
The problem will come up that when registering the software, Microsoft will see different hardware and question it.
There should be an 800 number you call. Explain what happended and they will give you another registration key.

You should still have the software as you should have recieved the discs containing the pre-loaded programme to your computer when you bought it, just re-load to your new hard drive and off you go. MS doesn’t owe you anything. 😉 H
You never own the software, all you get from Microsoft is the right to use it.
Common licenses indicate you can only use the software in a single machine and a single copy…
You need to call the MS hotline or the equipment manufacturer to see if you need to buy a new copy for your next PC…..
