Most likely it is due to windows registry errors. Fix it by downloading RegInOut.
It will help you.
If you’re getting the blue screen just on that game, then the most logical step is to reinstall the game. This can be done by clicking on Start > Control Panel > Add / Remove Programs and then uninstalling the Sims from there. After you’ve done that, you should then open up the installation CD / download and reinstall completely.
You may also wish (if you have not already) to try using a ‘registry cleaner’ to fix any damaged settings that might be causing the game to crash like that. These tools can be very effective and having used a lot of them, we’ve found that one called "Frontline Registry Cleaner" seems to work the best, and you can read about it at http://www.fastregistryfixes.com/best_registry_cleaner_tools.html
There can be two issues:
1. Virus (Use AVG free)
2.. Corrupt registry ( Use reginout)
I am sure it will help you.
