One good one is enough in my opinion. Also I have been using this free library from Uniblue Labs whenever I have any doubts or find an infection. Sometimes even virus removal software don’t remove all traces of an infection.

You will find also what files and registry entries have been created or edited for any type of infection.
NO!! Do not have more than one Anti Virus program "running" on your PC!! Not good!!
I have "5" AntiVirus programs ON my pc, but i only have ONE installed and running…
If i want to use another one, i uninstall it, and in-stall another one.
You CAN have more than one Anti Spyware program on PC but one good one is enough,,Really!!
Here are the BEST PC programs on the net and i happen to use all the top rated ones.

Well, I personally don’t think that more than one anti virus is necessary, Just get a good one like Symantec Norton, or McAfee, or Kaspersky.
Besides having more than one will slow down your computer and why to waste the money!!
No… I don’t find that to be ok. You are basically sacrificing system performance for nothing… Not to mention that having more than one anti-virus running could result in more problems such as ‘locking’ of your computer – due to the fact that they me dumb enough to scan each others’ scanning to ensure that they are both safe. They could also detect each others’ quarantined items as threats and confuse you… Furthermore most of these solutions are incompatible with each other!
Invest in a good anti-virus and you’re done… I used to run multiple anti-viruses myself but I’ve learnt my lesson well.
You might want to keep a firewall, an anti-virus, an anti-sypware and anti-adware (although even these are a lot) but avoid from having more than one anti-virus… 😉
