ESET NOD32 Antivirus 4 is the most effective protection you can find to combat today’s huge volumes of Internet and email threats. It provides comprehensive antivirus and antispyware protection without affecting your computer’s performance.
Using advanced ThreatSense® technology, ESET NOD32 Antivirus proactively protects you from new attacks, even during the critical first hours when other vendors’ products aren’t aware the attack even exists. ESET NOD32 Antivirus detects and disables both known and unknown viruses, trojans, worms, adware, spyware, rootkits and other Internet threats.
Reinstall windows Then.
1. Then reinstall everything else you had
2. Rember NOTHING is perfect and thise antivirus people recommend are retarded. AVG? WHAT THE HECK? AVG scored poor. avira is not even among the popular ones and i will say avast is a go but still better off buying.
3. DONT BE A IDIOT ONLINE. You be a idiot then NOTHING will defend you
P.S. – 2 years without using ANY antivirus, just smart enough to be a smart person online.
It looks like you have a rootkit running on your computer. Every single program you listed is not a rootkit remover. I’m going to give you a link to a very good rootkit remover. On the page make sure you read the instructions listed under Download. It will tell you how to download and run the program if the rootkit blocks it. Which is probably going to happen. Do not run this tool in safe mode. Make sure you know what you are removing is a bad rootkit this tool is for experienced users only. You will Need to read the documentation carefully.

OK, there’s no simple fix for your issue. My best advice, get McAfee, install it in "SAFE" mode only and run an exhaustive scan of ALL the system. Run Windows Firewall as a backup to Zone Alarm PRO.
only use one virus program 2 or more will conflict with each other. try norton 2009 security suite free 60 day trial. uninstall all othe virus programs first.
" i have loads of anti virus software i have got from the internet, but none of it seems to actually fix anything, it either doesn’t find anything, or it finds loads of viruses but doesn’t really do anything about them"
That right there sounds like you have multiple "Adware" or "Greyware" infections. These programs usually issue fake alerts and then urge you to purchase their generally worthless solution to an nonexistant problem.
I would highly recommend that you stick to one or two Anti-Virus/Spyware solutions. When you have more than one Anti-Virus application running it can cause MAJOR problems. Not only will they consume a MASSIVE ammount of system resources, but they tend to interact with eachother and may cause system instability.
Try one of these for Anti-Virus: Avir or AVG Free
And try this for Anti-Spyware: Spybot Search and Destroy.
A combination of the above programs is generally enough to protect most users while using minimal resources. All of them are safe, free and easy to use. Goodluck!
