   I will recommend the following security programs :–

   1. Kaspersky antivirus for the viruses issues
   2. Superantispyware for the spywaers issues.

   Please update all these above softwares before start the scanning process.

   yeah you can use google to look for free anti-virus stuff.

   Mcafee isn’t very good because in a test it failed to prevent the Conficker worm, but I’m sure they fixed that vulnerability. Some good free anti viruses to try are Superantispyware, Malwarebytes, Comodo, Spybot Search and Destroy, Avast, AVG (although it has no rootkit detection or prevention built in.) Bitdefender. All of these are exceptionally good programs, so it’s your choice. Hope this helps!

   .I have used AVG Anti Virus, Zone Alarm Firewall, I have recently added superantispyware and Malwarebytes. They are all free for personal use and I have had no trouble with Viruses Trojans Hackers etc. I have just upgraded to AVG free 8.5 and all seems good so far. Zone Alarm allows a lot of personal configuration unlike the Windows Firewall. They can all be downloaded from http://www.download.com/ I also use Windows Defender from the Microsoft site. It is safe to use two anti-spy products but never use more than one A/V as it can cause conflicts. You should run A/V and anti spy weekly.
