I had the same situation before, i think u should first check if there is any virus, and then get rid of junk files. but after all these process, it didnt work for ma pc,and ma friend strongly recommended IObit Advanced SystemCare PRO 4, it is a freeware system optimization and privacy tool. It removes unused files from your system – allowing Windows to run faster and freeing up valuable hard disk space. It also cleans traces of your online activities such as your Internet history. Advanced SystemCare also fixes your registry. But the best part is that it’s fast (normally taking less than a second to run) and contains NO Spyware or Adware. It is a comprehensive PC care utility that takes a one-click approach to help protect, repair, and optimize your computer.
then everything went normal, i enjoy ma experience with IObit ASC. hope u would like it 2.

Registry cleaning is a myth for people who know little about computers. You don’t need to "clean" the registry and doing so is not going to solve any real problems or improve performance. All a registry cleaner does is look for some obsoletes values and delete them, it can’t repair anything.
Computer’s get slow because of the amount of stuff running on them…programs and applications that load when Windows starts. Focus on that, disable some stuff from starting automatically if it doesn’t need to or you don’t want it to. Some programs you can stop from starting when Windows starts by going into the settings for the program, other stuff you can disable by opening msconfig, clicking on the startup tab and unchecking some things.
Don’t have more than one anti-virus program installed that runs in real-time. Uninstall unnecessary programs.
Scan for malware and viruses.
Defrag the partition Windows is on if it needs it.
I’ve had really good experiences with this one.

It’ll fix any registry problems, and do lots of other maintenance things too. It is meant for exactly what you are dealing with, making your computer run faster by cleaning it up. It should be at least 40% faster afterwords if you have a lot of registry errors
