   Startup > disable useless services.

   This is my arsenal of tools to help keep my computer clean and what I put on my clients computers when they want the free stuff…
   1) ccleaner
   2) superantispyware
   3) clamwin antivirus

   There are a number of tools you need to use to help you cleanup a machine and have it run faster one is Hijackthis – learn how to use this one.

   I have found that the best way to remove spyware and viruses that have inundated the computer is to reformat & fresh install, just like you are doing. I waste too much time trying to clean up everything… then 3 weeks later, in comes the client with similar problems… you just can’t get all of the little buggers out of the machine because the software that’s out there can’t keep up with the onslaught of spybots & viruses the computers are being inundated with.
