   c cleaner helps you in cleaning…but if you want to optimize your system you should use "tune up utilities "2009or 2010…it maintains your pc in a perfect condition..

   cc cleaner, and auslogics disk defrag are the only ones all i use, along with windows disk clean up. i have used them without any problems, and my computers fun great. i would use defraggler (made by the same people as cc cleaner) but it runs way slower than auslogics. just be sure its better i defragged using auslogics and analyzed using defraggler, and it showed 0% fragmentation, so its not as if it is more thorough. the only thing about using auslogics is you have to go into the settings menu, and go to the algorithms tab, and make sure its set to move system files to the beginning of the disk. this will move them to the fastest spinning section of your drive and make the read time much shorter.

    Try emptying the recycling bin.

    Best Option, Going to your temporary files folder, and deleting everything !
    I found 4gb of stuff in mine.
    Browsers sometimes fail at deleting temporary files.

    For XP: %USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files
    or
    For Vista: %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files
