Most computers actually run slow because of a hidden part of your system, which is constantly being used by Windows. This part of your PC is called the "registry" and is the central database for Windows, which stores everything from your latest emails to your desktop wallpaper. It’s one of the most important parts of Windows and can easily make your PC run slow. The more corrupt registry files your computer has, the more it struggles to read them. The files which makes it run slower and slower. To fix this, you simply need to use a registry cleaner http://computer-work-smooth.com . These are small software tools which actually work by scanning through the registry and fixing any bad files that are in there. This then allows Windows to read as many files as it wants, when it wants to.
One way to speed up your computer is to get a good PC Optimizer and Registry cleaner from Intel Software Directory
http://ibx.intel.com/directory/Default.aspx
what kind of Internet connection do you have ? If you have a dial up it could be the modem going bad.
It is likely that you have some kind of spyware. But there are so many things that could slow you down its hard to say without knowing more about your connection. a little more info would help
Well here’s a few things.
Get a registry cleaner and fix your registry.
Defrag your harddrive. <——– IMPORTANT, I reccommend auslogics disk defrag.
Scan your computer for any virusus, and if possible remove them.
Service your computer.
Hope I helped .thanks.
Something is hogging up CPU time and/or reading/writing to the hard drive a lot. When the computer is acting slow, go into the task manager, and under processes, look to see what is taking up the most CPU and memory. That should help you determine what the problem is. Also, did you install any new software or windows updates just before the slow down?
You should run a deep scan with your antivirus software
if you dont have avtivirus software you can get it free at:
http://www.avg.com
or
http://www.avira.com
or:
http://www.avast.com
You can also download Ccleaner, http://www.ccleaner.com
use it to clean the registry and clear cluttered files
Reinstall Windows. Eventually the registry gets clogged up with junk and the hard drive probably needs defragmenting.
It is common need to refresh the system now and then.
Comodo? Isn’t that a firewall? I use them for firewall. For an antivirus, I recommend Avast and my new friend MalwareBytes from download.com should also be on your computer. They’ll scan and seek out any digital bad guys on the computer.
From there, you might have too many background programs running, registry errors (ccleaner @ ccleaner.com) and might even need to upgrade the RAM due to your new computer needs.
