I just purchased a box of 24 Nice’n Clean wipes at wal-mart. they work good. They work good for, monitors, TV’s, keyboards, remote controls, printers, scanners, telephones, DVD players. Very cheap. Less than 2 bucks.

You can use a mixture of rubbing alcohol (70%) and water. When you make the mixture, make it half and half. For example, if you have 6 ounces of water, you want to put 6 ounces of rubbing alcohol, that way it’s half and half.
This mixture is safe for any computer screen, including CRT’s and LCD’s. I’m not sure about plasma’s though.
I hope this helps!
Some eyeglass cleaning wipes and IsoPropyl Alcohol.
I use those pre-moistened eyeglass cleaner, it workes very well. You can also buy moniter wipes at about 10 times the cost.
Also, if you use a spray cleaner, turn your computer off first, I generally do it at the end of the day.
i just use rubbing alcohol. seems to work fine.
I would not spray anything onto a screen.
Too much chance of drops forming and running down the screen and into the electronics.
Get a soft cloth – cotton or microfiber.
Dampen it with water. You should not be able to wring water out of it.
Clean gently.
If that does not work then repeat with isopropyl alcohol instead of water.
