   no .that is just a repair disk, it does not have the operating system on it . you need an install disk or a restore disk for windows 7. and for the same version of 7 (Starter,Home,Home Premium, etc. if your pc came with it pre-installed then it should have a repair/restore partition utility of some kind. look up you model and make plus the # and add restore or recovery partition to the search, to find the steps to perform it.

   Yes you need the installation DVD for Windows 7. That item on eBay is not it at all.
