it wont mess anything up, what it does is delete things that arent needed, like things in the recycling bin, old and useless error reports and various other things. So no, this will not delete your music or other files.
you may also want to consider getting rid of unwanted programs and any other files.
but after doing this you will want to do a defragement on your main hard drive (C:/), this will help speed up fie transfers after moving large amounts of data around. you simply right click on the hard drive (C;/ in windows) then go to PROPERTIES followed by clicking on the TOOLS tab there should then be a button for defragmentation, click on it and start the defrag. Be warned though this may take several hours.
You may also want to consider to consistently do this ever week or two for best performance. And if you still need more hard drive space, go to best but and get a 120 GB external HDD for under $80 and that should last you quite a while!
no do it
No, it will show all the files you can delete and you can pick which ones you want to delete, and which ones you want to keep.
This prety much removes files windows doesn’t need anymore. This will not affect any personal files (music, movies, documents, etc…). It will remove temporary files (like backups of stuff you download), thumbnails (little previews of pictures) among other inconsequential things. It all depends on what you choose to remove. All the items have descriptions attached, you should be safe during the picking.
