When you use this utility, it’ll cause your computer to start up much quicker. It usually cleans up registry entries of programs that were already deleted from the computer. Other than that, I don’t know too much about it.
Donot touch registry edit unless you know it.It will be a great problem to recover,your computer will be useless after that.

If you mess up your registry you can render your computer inoperable. You need to be very careful when working with your registry. Worst case would be you need to re-install windows.

never delete what you dont know. unless you KNOW what it is, don’t remove it.
If you are talking about trying to clean the registry by hand, manually, yourself, you can cause all kinds of havoc…
But if you are talking about running a program like ccleaner, go for it. Ccleaner is safe and I use it regularly. Recommend it.
Have not worked with others, so can not comment on them…
If you are concerned, create a restore point before running ccleaner. Then if it messing up, you can restore the registry to before it ran.
