I think the Spotmau PowerSuite 2010 is your best choice.
You can use it to boot up any computer; fix and install Windows; optimize and speed up your system; clean up history and protect privacy; recover data and passwords; partition and format the hard drive; clone and backup your system; and more…
You can see detail and guides here: http://spotmau-powersuite.kooksoft.com/
I hope this may help you.
There is no 1 programme to speed up your PC – it’s all about maintenance and keeping it clean.
Download Ccleaner here – http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/
This programme will find all the temp files, dead links, cookies, basically all the crap you’ve got all over your PC.
Run Analyse in both Windows and Applications tabs – delete whatever it finds.
Run the Uninstaller under Tools and get rid of any programmes you don’t want or use.
On the Registry tab – Scan for Issues and Fix them
Tools allows you to uninstall programmes (like in Control Panel-Add/Remove Programmes)
Under Options you can set what cookies to keep so it doesn’t delete them in the clean up
Check the Disk
Manual steps to run Chkdsk from My Computer or Windows Explorer
1. Double-click My Computer, and then right-click the hard disk that you want to check.
2. Click Properties, and then click Tools.
3. Under Error-checking, click Check Now. A dialog box that shows the Check disk options is displayed,
4. Choose Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors check box, and then click Start.
Note: If one or more of the files on the hard disk are open, you will receive the following message:
The disk check could not be performed because the disk check utility needs exclusive access to some Windows files on the disk. These files can be accessed by restarting Windows. Do you want to schedule the disk check to occur the next time you restart the computer? Click Yes to schedule the disk check, and then restart your computer to start the disk check. Let it run when you restart – it may take a while.
Defrag
Start-Programs-Accessories-System Tools-Defragmentation. Pick a drive – Analyse-Defragment
This may also take a while.
Scan for viruses with uptodate programmes and delete what it finds.
Check in task manager when it’s running slow. What’s using all the CPU usage? Go into Processes and click on the CPU heading to sort the programmes.
Probably the best thing that I’ve used is Glary Utilities. It’s free and has many great features. Basically it’s a one stop program for cleaning up and maintaining your system. I’ve been using it for a couple of years and find that, even though I’m what you would consider an expert level user, there isn’t much that I need to do to maintain my system that I can’t do with Glary. It even has shortcut links to things like chkdsk, Windows defragmenter and other system utilities.
CCleaner is a good program, but it’s really only a cleanup and registry tool, and isn’t any more useful in either of those tools than Glary is. Check it out here:

Most programs that promise to speed up your computer are pretty worthless and sometimes carry viruses. Just do a Disk De-frag and a Disk Cleanup and then clean out some of your files and that will help you get your system performance up a bit
1. stop those unnecessary start-up programs which will affect computer boot time a lot.
2. do a disk defragment or a registry defragment. the former will free up your disk space, and the latter will give a clean registry.
3. notice that just cleaning up registry is not enough. you should fix registry errors.Registry is so important to a computer, so if you are unfamiliar with it ,do not delete anything by yourself, or your computer will collapse.
you can go http://www.ccleaner.com to download a registry cleaner. it will help to scan registry.
and then go http://www.system-tools-software.com/free-registry-defrag/ to download a totally free registry defrag to clean up your registry thoroughly. Both they are free.
4. remove all junk files and history.
5.fully scan your computer. Virus always cause a computer slow down. At the same time, you should also know that using more than 1 antivirus software is harm to your computer. They will make a big confliction by uncompatible with each other.
6. Add some RAM, which is helpful to computer speed.
7. if all above do not work, you may consider to do a reinstall of Windows. Before you do it , please remember to back up all your important files.
Everyone hates slow computer, do something and make it fast again.
Good luck to you.
