Well I would suggest Avira as it does not make your laptop or system heavy and plus it works amazingly.

If you can part with the cash either get: Avast Pro or Bit defender. Norton is a complete resource hog and Kapersky isn’t all that fast. I use Avast and it’s good. Although it can be slow it’s easy to use and reliable. or even better checkout this site: http://anti-virus-software-review.toptenreviews.com/v2/
avg has a free adition. buy remove norton first. if you have both on there it will slow the laptop down.
Right now, Norton is the best security software right now, with the antivirus at 30-40$ and the whole security suite at 60$. It has the most features, doesnt slow down the computer and is the fastest overall. Go check this link for reviews of other antiviruses as well

I would say the cost of an Anti-Virus is null when compared to how much it does to protect your computer.
My two that I like are: Kaspersky or AVG
Of course, not everyone in computers will agree, but I’m sure most can agree that both work better than Norton ever did. 🙂
I know right staples has norton 360 on sale for $30 which is 50% and i read in pc mag that is one of the top on virus removal and protection. you need to get a staples rewards card but thats pretty painless and is free!
*also if you want something thats free don’t download it from any where get it direct from manufactures website.
