   I recomend you also use Malwarebytes

   I can see that alot of peeps here recomend AVG. The only problem with AVG is that it doesnt provide for a boot scan. Some files are locked when explorer.exe is running and therefore cannot be scanned. Those files can only be scanned when your computer is booting. Avast has a boot scan option plus, unlke AVG, updates regularly.. Good luck

   AVGFree is my saviour. I love it and it does the job. Does it better than most paid ones.

   edit : Oops. forgot about the one or two peeps who use a av program that does not have root kit protection. Says so on download page. Y’all did not read it , i guess.
