Like all freeware, the program is free, but a donation is appreciated and required for timely updates.
Ccleaner itself is a "clean" program, containing no spyware or adware, and it downloads quickly. As a bonus, Ccleaner can also be used to eliminate traces of online activities by deleting Internet Explorer and Firefox temporary files, URL history files and cookies (it let’s you select any cookies you do not want deleted, such as those that contain login (user and password) information for your favorite sites.

A registry cleaner is not the answer. You don’t say what you mean by "acting weird".
With any registry cleaner you should always back up your registry before running it just to be certain you are safe. With that said – Ccleaner is a good, free and effective solution.
could be many things i doubt its a registry issue. you need to explain what is happening with the pc.and no comment on kaspersky i dont use it.
Sounds like a virus, ThinkPoint has been infecting Win 7 O/s lately.
You need CCleaner for the registry and MalwareBytes for the virus.
