This problem can mean many things, odds are the problem is with the operating system itself. I’m going to give you some instruction of some things I would do if I was working on this computer.
Questions you should consider:
Do you get any error messages? If so contact Microsoft with the error message.
Is you computer under warranty? If so, it’s best to let a technician handle the problem. Note: Sometimes they will reformat or replace your hard drive. You could loose all data so it would be a good idea to backup first.
Check online:

Re-pare Steps:
1) Restart Windows in Safe Mode. As you computer is restarting, hold down F8 and once the menu appears, select Safe Mode using the arrow key and selecting by pressing enter. Note: If windows does not boot in safe mode then seek help from a train technician, the problem may be too complex to go into decision in the message.

If your computer always restart, There are some reason:
I. It’s Hot in There
Sometimes this can be caused by an overheating situation. Itunes, RealPlayer, Windows Media player, etc. require a lot of processing power to decompress and decode music files, which can cause the processor or hard drive to get hot.
Memory Fails Me…
If you determine that overheating is not the problem, the most likely suspect is bad memory.
II. Don’t Do Me Any Favors
There’s a setting buried in Windows XP that tells your computer to restart when a system error occurs. you turn off that option, you may solve your automatic reboot problem.
1) Click Start, then open Control Panel
2) Click Performance and Maintenance
3) Click System
4) Click on the Advanced Tab
5) Click Settings in the Startup and Recovery section
6) Uncheck Automatically Restart in the System failure section
Note that this may prevent the system from restarting, but it can also mask the true problem.
The most common cause of computer restarting is a corrupt registry.
Most likely your registry is bloated and overstuffed with an assortment of useless pieces of data. The operating system while running your computer has to pick its way through all this excess material. There will be bits of programs which were not completely uninstalled, parts of programs which were never completely installed, fragments of miscellaneous data, useless drivers, and a multitude of other bits and pieces.
The answer is to clean your registry and remove all the material which is not needed.

III. Computer Restarts After Download?
This can also be a virus or spyware problem. I suggest you go through your Control Panel / Add or Remove Programs list and remove any programs you don’t need, then run thorough anti-virus and anti-spyware scans. See:

Hi,
This blue screen is called as Blue Screen of Death (BSOD), Stop Error or Fatal Exception. The BSOD is a colloquialism used for the error screen displayed by Microsoft Windows, after encountering a critical system error that can cause the system to shut down to prevent irreversible damage to its integrity. Common Causes of BSOD:
1. Corrupted installation
2. Problem with your ram (Random Access Memory)
3. A malfunctioning or unsupported hardware
4. A hardware was removed while windows is running
5. Problem with a device driver
6. Errors with hard disk driver during windows installation
7. Corrupted startup files
8. Overheating of the processor
9. Corrupted registry entries.

Most likely faulty memory or faulty hard drive.
The problem is that you own a PC, and not MAC.
