i was just online one day and turned off my computer and the next time i logged on to my user it says "you may be a victim of software counterfitting". I have no idea what this means, is there anyway i can make the message go without spending any money or going to a computer repair shop? I tried clicking on resolve now but it went to windows . com and said i had to buy something for £100 🙁

Sorry but the other to answerers are wrong, it more than likely means you have a pirated copy of Windows XP or Windows Vista, im not sure which one you have., Theres no way to correct your problam but to get a legit copy.,
