   The value of using a registry cleaner is debatable – http://www.whatthetech.com/2007/11/25/do-i-need-a-registry-cleaner/ and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Registry_cleaner but the one in Ccleaner – http://www.piriform.com/ – is as good as any.

   I can’t say which one is the best but I’ve tried and trusted Glary Utilities:
   http://www.glaryutilities.com/gu.html

   They have a free and a pro version.

   Another one that I have tried is CCleaner:
   http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner

   However, I still find Glary Utilities to have more features than CCleaner. CCleaner doesn’t have a File Unerase program. It comes as a separate program:
