I use kaspersky and its simple the best.. It detects 99% of viruses.
There is also a secret page to download its 9 months license for free.

Web Root is a very good paid Anti-Virus program.
Or
If you want to go the free route Microsoft Security Essentials is great.
When it comes to Computer safety and security, I would suggest checking out the following:
Spyhunter:

Remember to always keep your antivirus and anti-spyware applications up to date and fully functional.
Feel free to check out the free trial version of Kaspersky here:

Norton Security Virus Protection offers the absolute best protection. It can be found in most technology stores and others like Sam’s Club and Wal Mart. It is mildly expensive and protects me from all pop-ups, hackers, and viruses.
NORTON
I have had good luck with Microsoft Security Essentials. I suggest using a few of the programs mentioned as each of them will not stop everything 100%.
Nod32 is the gold standard in antivirus. No other program can match it’s labratory results and I’ve never heard of a virus getting past it. It’s also very lightweight so its impact on your system performance is minimal. I don’t know how much it costs, but I do know it’s the best there is.
Dude…get all 3 of these:Avira AntiVir Personal 10,Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware,and Ad-Aware. These programs are free through CNET at http://www.download.com
Yeah !!!!!
if you don’t have any software, than how do you know you have a Trojan?
it all depends upon what you do online to determine what software best fits you.
If you’re cheap and you want a free scanner, than get Avira.
If you’ll buy one, than get Kaspersky.
its about preference, for me its Kaspersky and Bitdefender both internet security version…never had any problems with them on my Widows 7 laptop.
bitdefender, kaspersky and avast,
NOD32 and Antivir Personal works great..see which you like better..but remember protection is one ting…but you have to keep an open mind and juss look at what you open..just don’t go opening suspicious looking files and questionable websites
G-Data , detects at a 99% detection rate. see independent review. ~
