Registry Mechanic, recommend by pc magazine.
I would suggest Reimage. It is the best tool I’ve ever found. Reimage combines AntiVirus, AntiSpyware, Registry Cleaner and Full PC Repair. It is all in one. Reimage is the only product that can correct the damage a virus has caused (as opposed to anti virus software that simply remove viruses but don’t correct that damage). Reimage can fix your PC even after it is already damaged. It replaces all those corrupted system files with the correct files from a repository (has over 25 million components) and thereby making the PC run like new. And there is no hassle of taking data back up, as Reimage keep your data and all programs Intact
I’ve been using registry cleaners for a while and I always used to stick to using free ones… but the one I was using actually ruined my PC by deleting the wrong file. It was called CCleaner and I had to spend $80 to get the damn thing fixed.
Now I use a tool called RegAce because it has a backp facility. You can see it at http://www.regace.com
Hope this helps?
No reason ,just for it is Registry Cleaner and 100% Free Scan!

Yes, it would be your reg that’s slowing you down, along with whatever you have set to run at start up. But that’s a whole different matter.
Try this one..

It’s free, safe and easy to use. I’ve had it for three years and it’s never given me a problem (quite the opposite).
Run the ‘Registry’ part first, then the ‘Cleaner’.
Be aware that if you check ‘Cookies’ ALL of them will be deleted including any passwords/logins you use on line.
There is an option to exclude any you choose, so use that.
