   The problem with slow computers is that most of the time. It’s all to do with a hidden part of your system .This part of your system is called the ‘registry’ and is a huge database which stores all the settings and options for your PC.The reason why the registry is responsible for making your computer run slow is because it is actually prone to getting corrupt and damaged.    If you are using computer speed up sites, that is one reason you’re so slow 🙂
   Is it internet required things that are slow, or is it everything?
   If it is internet only, I would say that either you should get a better ISP or your onboard(or PCI) ethernet plug-in is old and only accepts slower speeds, such as ones in the KBs/s or like 10MB/s max.
   Perhaps it is just hat your hardware is simply outdated..
   Maybe you have viruses and junk files..

   Good antiviruses: AVAST! and AVG (I use AVG on all of my computers)
   I also recommend deleting your cache (cookies and all) via internet options, and ridding of all junk programs and files yourself.

   Worst comes to worst: Format your HDD, reinstall the OS, and start all over again.

   Most of those sites are scams. It’s better if you do some google searches and learn how to clean up your computer yourself.

   However I can recommend this: start with a good virus scanner such as AVG Free or MalWareBytes (both are free).

   The only Internet Security that is free is not light on resources. Comodo. I know I used it and I couldn’t even go online with it!

   I suppose your computer is old. Mine is 10 years old. I tweaked a bit to get some speed. Here is my trick. Windows won’t look as cute but who cares for a faster connection?
   Right click on My Computer icon -> Properties -> Select Advanced tab => Under "Performance": click on Settings -> Select Visual Effect tab -> Click on Adjust for best performance -> OK -> Apply -> OK. That will give you 20% of speed for your Connection.

   Choose an Antivirus that won’t eat up your computer resources (Avast is good and free or any other paid version with the same attribute).

   If you click on any Registry Cleaner you will go to the homepage and be able to download from there.
   By the way the first link is better than a Registry cleaner for speed. I agree with Windows PC magazine on that point! I use for other reasons as it easy and fast to clean my cache and Google Chrome web history and Internet Explorer too. (It provide for other Browsers too).
   Opt also for Google Chrome, Opera or even Firefox instead of Internet Explorer (very slow!).
