I have an Acer Aspire One that runs Windows XP, and I would like to know if anyone knows of a really good virus protection/removal program that protects against all of the viruses and spyware and junk. I would prefer something that I can purchase in a store instaid of off the internet. Thank You!

The secret to protecting your computer is not a real good anti-virus program. There are many Kaspersky, Nod32, Norton, Avira, Avast. The secret is to learn how not to get infected. It's not that hard. I never get infected, I don't have a bunch of security programs slowing down my computer. Look at one of the answer you got a link on how to remove malware for free. Check out this guide on how to protect your computer. Never let Malware on to your computer. Learn what 98% of computers users don't know. You won't need a Mac. You can do it with all free programs. I've set up over 10 computers using steps like the ones in this guide. These computers never get infected.

Fat Johnny dont hear Sona's answer he giving you link to obtain rogue/fake anti-virus…which malware and make your computer like hell…
besides, AdwareAlert is a rogue anti-spyware..you can do some research on them 😉
If you want best virus protection you should go for Kaspersky Internet Security 2009.. It is the best product…Dont argue it with ESET Smart Security. Some of the virus missed by ESET Smart Security and i know Kaspersky is the best after i experience it 🙁
GO FOR KASPERSKY…
This sona should deserve banned from yahoo…
Why deal with Viruses? Get a Mac!
