   You can use a dusting cloth and warm, lightly soapy water. Cleaning solutions like 409 and Windex will work too.

   Never spray anything directly on a monitor or any electrical device, and make sure that its powered off and disconnected from the wall before you clean it (just in case).

   Dampen the dusting cloth with the cleaning solution and wipe. Then wipe off again using a dry dusting cloth.

   I just use Windex w/vinegar and a lint free cloth.

   I wouldn’t use windex! Windex or vinegar can cause the coating that goes over the LCD screen to run off. This coating protects the screen from dust sticking to the screen and helps deflecting any direct light onto the screen.

   The best thing to do to clean a screen is to use about 50% rubbing alcohol, and 50% distilled water. The source below is where i found this trick and I have used it ever since!
