1. Format.
2. Install : Win XP.
3. Install : Drivers. (If you are sure that their setup files are not already infected.!! If you aren’t sure.. – MAKE it step 6 & MS-update:step7. // the drivers on pen drive/HDD might be infected.)
4. Install : AntiVirus. [If you don’t have any.., i will suggest you "Avira" {http://www.free-av.com/en/trialpay_download/1/avira_antivir_personal__free_antivirus.html}]
5. UPDATE – ANTIVIRUS.
6. Microsoft Updates.

If u have a genuine version of Windows u should go to windows update website ull get all ur updates there..!

drivers first,security secondly then your updates. gl,youll need your drivers which will automatically be installed form the disc before you can even get to the internet,drivers are what your pc needs to communicate with different parts of pc for those parts to work.
Windows updates and drivers, then third party software drivers and security programs
basically do all the Windows stuff first, then third party software…
you have the best chance of installing all your Windows updates successfully if all you have on your computer is Windows.
