This is why you need a powerful tool like Reimage. TDSS rootkit virus gets installed through AV Security Suite. The trojan is very dangerous and uses rootkit-specific techniques designed to hide the software presence in the system. It is practically not detected by standard means Windows, you will not find its files on the disk, as well as writing about it in the Windows registry.
Usually rootkit hides it’s presence…and disguises as some Windows System File…which is
why the trojan is hard to find and delete. But Reimage works by comparing the OS system files with the correct files from a web repository of 25 million Windows components. This is the sole reason you can get a PC as good as new once you run Reimage, all other antivirus and antimalware programs just delete the virus…but they don’t correct the damage…which results in re-infection and slow performing PC
I had the same issues recently, here’s the guide:

Alternatively you will have to scan with another anti-spyware to see if there was nothing left.
First off, you have a netbook, using windows is just not a sensible choice. Windows is BLOATED, even when you strip it down so it’s best you to use a Linux Distro.
I suggest either easypeasy http://www.geteasypeasy.com/?menu=download
or go to http://www.linuxmint.com if you want, you can install the netbook menu system for it.
If it’s still not fast enough for you, just find a distro using LXDE, XFCE, or E17 desktop environments.
With WINE, office 2007 runs 100% in linux (and openoffice is free). There is NO REASON to use windows on a netbook.
I think you can try 2 use this one
