i believe it has something to do with a driver installed? how do you fix this problem. we had it looked at and was told to run our windows software to repair it, but we are unsure how to get to repair. we are using windows xp home edition, i believe 2000 any suggestions, thanks!!

if you did just recently install a driver, you can go in to the Device Manager and "roll back" to the previous version. See: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/helpandsupport/learnmore/driverrollback.mspx
You also could try Windows Restore, and restore the pc back to when you know it was working. see: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/306084
