Try a few different programs:
AVG – for viruses, the best free program for the job.
Spybot and Adaware – great for all the small shit that slows your computer down.
Also try Windows built in things like Disk Defragmenter, and Disk Cleanup.
Get an OS that doesn’t slow down or get infected. It’s called ubuntu and it’s as awesome as owning a mac without hurting your wallet like a mac does.

You can get free anti-virus products like AVG or symantics. I think Panda might also have a free service. just google those brand names and they will have like, a 60 day trial…
also you can find ad-aware products completly for free to get rid of cookies and tracking bugs.
you should run a defrag test on your PC. If you go to control panels, there should be an option for Defrag (or just hit the search button on your computer for DeFrag and it should come up.)
