those blank pages, is to let you take notes after your reading.
To write notes.
The folds of paper are called signatures, and they have 24 pages. So sometimes there will be blank pages.
yes.If you take any fiction or non-fiction novels, stories you can see some blank pages at the end of the book. This is good for take some important notes, whether we don’t have rough papers. we can write our opinion or our most liked statements and proverbs at the end of the page just for our reference. that’s all.
I think it is to do with how the book is bound. If you look at the spine of a book the is lots of little ripples at the base of the pages where they are glued. These ripples are where groups of pages are folded over. If these groups are say twenty pages each and your book has a number of pages that isn’t easily divisible by twenty then there will be some blank pages at the end of the book. This is so that it makes the manufacturing process easier.
To make notes of important articles in the book to access rapidly.
I’m a very active reader, so I always write notes at the very end, or pages that had something that was really important in the story. So that’s what I think they’re for!
I took a book making class back in college. The actuall pages are long, retangular sheets of paper that are bound in the center creating the spine of the book. When the begining of the book has several "lead in pages" such as the title page, publisher’s page, acknowlegment page, chapter page, quote/poem page, you get the drift…. this causes several blank pages to happen at the end of the book.
Hah, when I was younger my friends & I would write "reviews" of the book on those blank pages before passing the item to the next reader. LOL
