I have avg installed, no viruses, used malwarbytes, no malware. Used a good registry cleaner(registry cleaner) all taken cared of, I did disk clean up, all good, I even tweaked with the virtual memory and its still slow. I even tried to install super anti spyware and i cant, I get some type of error. I even tried to do system restore, but the pc wont let me open it(turned of by group). Is it just that I need more ram? Because i tried to run disk defragment, but it never finished(maybe because Im using vista, and I dont have enough ram. A little help please? Best answer for 10 points.

Is your drive fragmented badly? The Vista defragger is slow and runs in low priority in the background. Also you need atleast 15% free space for the defrag to run efficiently. You can download and set Diskeeper09 in the automatic mode. It defrags very well even under low free space. And for Vista use the VSS option which prevents unnecessary shadow copy activity.

For a brand new computer, you may say no to registry cleaner & optimizer or any other programs like this. New-bought computer runs really fast and gives you perfect user experience. But for most of us, who may have used their computers for years and suffer from a slower and slower system performance, the answer is an absolutely YES.
So you can try this tool:
Wondershare registry optimizer:

You left out some key points. How old is your computer? How much hard drive space is available to you? How much ram do you currently use? If your running an older computer that may not have been built for vista, you probably should install a larger hard drive and more ram if possible. This would speed up your system. Also make sure all your programs are vista compatible.
For running slow there are many causes:
Microsoft Registry Problems
RAM
De-Fragmenting
Etc.
Clean windows registry can speed up the computer.
Registry Cleaner can fix your pc errors.
Over time, you install new programs, uninstalled unimportant programs, update software’s, install new devices,
download files from the web, etcetera, hence embarking all records in the registry system.
This is normal, but it is not wise to leave it untouched.
Once in a while, you have to check and remove files that are no longer in use to maintain the speed of your PC.
Clean registry make pc faster.
