This question is incredibly vague.
Operating Systems and software are complex and very widely. The good news is that there are a TON of freeware apps that can help you diagnose hardware failures and resolve software related issues.
Here is a quick guide to resolving PC issues.
1) Download and apply all OS related updates
2) Run an on-line virus scan such as http://housecall.trendmicro.com
3) If you do not have valid and current anti-virus software installed on your computer then it is not effective. If your protection has expired install it. Good news! It’s OK to save a few dollars and go with a free solution such as Avast or Free AVG. (Clam AV is available for Linux/Unix based systems).
The following currently only applies to windows machines:
4) It’s a also a good idea to run a spy-ware scanner or two every so often. I recommend Ad-Aware SE and SpyBot as well as a registry cleaning application (backup before running the reg clean).
Now that you have all that muck off your computer defrag your hard drive. This process could take several hours so you may want to start it before leaving for work or before going to bed (note this does not have to be done on none windows systems).
If you need more information about anything I mentioned here please post a more detailed question or do a quick google search.
Hope this helps.
Jason there is no software what happend is they scan your pc and tell you what the problem is but they want you to buy the product. But they won’t fix it.
If you have MS..you can go to their website for computer errors and updates…
