I have windows vista ultimate full version on my desktop pc and someone must have missplaced my installation disc and i need it to boot from if i need to repair or reinstall windows vista again! i am not going to pay for another new OS software in a store, all i need is a used disc or can i make a bootable copy off my OS?

Look for a used copy on eBay.

And how would you expect to make a DVD from your operating system if you can't boot it?
You can use someone else's vista disc. Just use your serial # when you activate it.
If one of your friends has a vista cd then you can borrow that of them and use that to boot your pc from. As long as you use your own product key it is legal.
