AVG is good, and is free online.
You can build a computer, but don’t know what antivirus?

I’ve been using NOD32 from ESET for years. It’s fast, lightweight, and doesn’t miss anything. I’ve also never had it do something annoying like yank me out of a game to announce that it was doing a system scan or something like that.
Microsoft Essentials (free for Genuine customers). It works well and has a low memory platform.

There are many to pick from, if getting a paid one, get one that has a gaming mode. If getting free look at Avira, it should not have any impact on your game since it does not scan web traffic.
