well, delete all unintended data, and remove all useless program, go to control panel-add/remove program, choose program then remove. done!
It is easy just reformat your whole computer! Thats it ! Done!!And if u don’t wanna delete any documents, just upgrade ur storage to a bigger one!! TRY IT
You can always use the Disk Clean Up tool given by XP. The location is Programs->Accessories->System Tools->Disk Cleaner. It is useful to clean up your cookies and Temporary Internet Files. These folders can take up a lot of space in your Hard Drive. Also check for the folder "System Value Information" (it is usually a hidden folder) in all your drives, you can safely delete that folder too.
start \ control panel \ add/remove programs
get rid of stuff you don’t use any more, or other stuff that was installed when you got your comp that you don’t want hanging around any more.
you can also run the disk cleanup wizard:
start \ programs \ accessories \ system tools
for the record, your computer’s memory is seperate from the available disc space.
A good free program to use to delete unused and useless files that are left over from uninstalled software is a program called ccleaner and it can be downloaded here. http://www.ccleaner.com/
Before you do any cleaning even with the built in cleaner in windows create a restore point so if anything nasty happens it will be easy to undo.
