   CCleaner is preferred by most people because it is free. You can get it from http://www.ccleaner.com and let it scan your PC.

   The only problem is that although CCleaner is free, it is not the best regsitry cleaner for Vista. The best cleaner is one that you have to pay for, called RegCure. It doesn’t cost a lot (about $30), but it finds an average of 10X the amount of errors that CCleaner does.

   Personally, i like Wondershare Registry Optimizer which has integrated functions like clean and optimize registry, IE manager, Stat up manager, uninstall manager and back up tools.
