   In addition to the post above. Delete browsing history and favorites. Run a security scan to rid your self of tracking cookies and "bugs".

   Do a "disk cleanup" and then a defrag (go to "my computer," right click on the C drive, and click on properties – you’ll find disk cleanup and defragment in there). They’ll take a long time, but it will speed up your computer at least some. Also get rid of any files and programs you don’t need – they take up space and slow down your computer. Are you using dial up? My parents have "High-Speed" internet, but it’s still dial up, and extremely slow.

   Ok, Just go to the following link and read the article. It has many tips about how to speed up your computer. It works really fine and will take you under 15 minutes to do. I recommend everybody to read it. (I’m giving you the link because typing up all the tips would take too long).

   P.S. The best tip is the one about Virtual Memory. I totally swear by it! It did wonders on my older computer.
