This "could" potentially be a virus. If this IS the case, you can just reinstall windows or boot in safe mode to see if you can find it. Try booting it in safe mode, and tell us what happens. Do you still get the BSOD? ( blue screen of death )
I would get it fixed by a professional or get a new one, it sounds like viruses got to it.
the best solution of fixing BSOD(blue screen of death) is full system reformat (unless of course its a hardware problem). If you open up your cpu, perhaps you can see the problem yourself
Hi,
This blue screen is called as Blue Screen of Death (BSOD), Stop Error or Fatal Exception. The BSOD is a colloquialism used for the error screen displayed by Microsoft Windows, after encountering a critical system error that can cause the system to shut down to prevent irreversible damage to its integrity. It serves to present information for diagnostic purposes that were collected as the operating system issued a bug check.

RESOLUTION:

Please Provide the "Error Code":
It is necessary to know the exact "Error Code" printed on the BSOD. This will help knowing the right path to resolve the problem. If you see BSOD for few seconds, and it automatically restarts your system, then you need to change a setting.
[1] Corrupted System Files:
Backup all your important data, and then Format the system drive, and Reinstall Microsoft Windows.
[2] Corrupted Registry:
1. Boot your system in the Safe Mode, by pressing F8 key before your operating system starts booting.
2. Repair the whole system registry, using a registry cleaner software, such as, RegInOut available here: http://download.cnet.com/RegInOut/3000-2094_4-10965219.html?part=dl-10053761&subj=dl&tag=button
[3] Non-Compatible or Mulfunctioning Hardware:
A recently installed hardware may not be functioning properly or may be not supported with the version of the opreating system you installed. So, refer to the Manual of the corresponding hardware, and remove it temporarily.
[4] Defective RAM:
1. Click Start -> Control Panel -> System and Maintenance -> Administrative Tools -> Memory Diagnostics Tool.
2. Click "Restart now and check for problems (recommended)" option.
[5] Non-Compatible DLL Files:
If you have recently installed a software, then remove it. Otherwise, try doing a system restore by clicking Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools -> System Restore.
[6] Problem with a Driver:
A recently installed Driver may be causing BSOD. Uninstall it, or restore your system to an earlier state by clicking Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools -> System Restore.
[7] Hard Disk Problem:
Bad sectors problem can be resolved by performing the steps below:
1. Open My Computer.
2. Right click a drive, and select "Properties".
3. Click "Tools", and "Check Now".
4. Follow the on screen instructions.
[8] Virus Infection:
Do a system scan by using an antivirus software, such as, Free Avast, Kaspersky Internet Security, MalwareBytes AntiMalware. Remove those viruses found.
[9] Misc:
If the BSOD appears for a specific and definite program, then ensure your computer fulfills all the Minimum System Requirements to use that program.
