   try check disk … if you can get to to safe mode then open the "computer" window and right click on the drive and go to tools and check mark the box’s for repair and fix or however it worded. and restart the pc.
   as far as user’s and password are concerned if you have not put any on it for Administrator then just hit enter .

   Since you did not create the operating system eRecovery disc set and your operating system has corrupt system files you need to order the eREcovery from Acer to use to do a system repair or re install. Order by model and serial number here: http://shop.acer.com/
