I’m running firefox and it constantly freezes and says not responding at the top. It does this for about 30 seconds and then comes back but its happening more often now. I tried scanning my computer for viruses, malware, and cleaned the registry but nothing.
Where do I check about the plugins and extensions?

My first thought would be spyware/malware or a browser hijack. If you scanned for those and found nothing, the next thing to look at is what plugins/extensions are running. It might also be some background software causing firefox to act up.
