Get the following software, all free, from the links below. Get them from a clean computer onto a flash drive. Now boot your computer into safe mode (hold f8 key while booting up). Run each from safe mode. This works in most cases.

The Google redirect virus isn’t just a malware problem but a browser hijack. So a system recovery or system restore won’t really work and can mess up your system even more. That’s also the reason why regular tools like anti-malware or anti-virus aren’t very effective in fixing the redirect problem on their own.
There are several ways to remove the Google redirect virus. One way is by renaming and disabling ‘regedit.exe’ temporarily so that the redirect doesn’t take place. Then run a full PC antivirus and anti-malware scan and once any trojans are detected and removed, restore the registry program back to its original name.
