Why does Mugglenet.com keep on showing up as an "Reported Attack Site!"? Does anyone else have this problem?

This has been happening to a lot of people, and Mugglenet is aware of the problem. According to another site, which the Mugglenet owner contacted about this issues, there is a malicious code embedded in a .gif file that is on the homepage. Until it is found and removed, as well as a scan done to find any other possible problems, this will persist.
I just clicked "ignore" and continued on to the web cite…
mugglenet has posted a thing about it, it says:
"Peeves takes over MuggleNet, we’re on the case
Peeves takes over MuggleNet, we’re on the case EDIT: A Twilight fansite didn’t actually cause the damage. I was joking as much as I was about Peeves infiltrating.
As many of you know, over the past 24 hours we were considered a ‘malicious attack site’ by Google and your browsers warned you before visiting.
After investigating the incident, we discovered that Peeves the Poltergeist was hired by a Twilight fansite to infiltrate our banner ads and trip some of Google’s alarms to make it look like we were up to no good.
We’re in the process of fixing the problem and appreciate your patience as we investigate. We apologize for the inconvenience and assure you that the pesky poltergeist won’t be back again! (Emerson will set him straight with the help of the Pickle Pack reindeer)"
The "ignore this warning" displayed at the bottom only means that you can click that link to go on to Mugglenet & you’re taking your chances if you do.
In the bottom right hand corner of the red box there is a link saying "Ignore this Warning".
the same thing is happening to me.what happens if you press "get me out of here"? I’ve just been closing the site when I get the message coming up.
This happened to me too! I too feel out of the loop, and it would be nice to find some answers! I dont dare take the risk, but i might!
yes this is happening to me!!!
i came here to find info on this exact thing… but i still have no idea what is going on! its one of my homepages, so i look at it a lot and its getting pretty annoying… i guess i’ll have to do some more research… well good luck finding out, i’ll star the question.
I’ve been getting the same thing when I try to access MuggleNet for the last two days. I came here to see if anyone had any information as to what the heck is going on. I’ve had computer viruses before, and I certainly don’t want to go down that road again. I wish the moderators of MuggleNet had a way to let their public know what’s going on. Maybe we could ask at The Leaky Cauldron, or HPANA, or one of the other big HP websites. I feel out of the loop.
Well do you feel like gambling
I’m having the same problem. I follow mugglenet on twitter http://twitter.com/MuggleNet and there were a couple of entries that had to do with this…
(just for reference, I copy/pasted this at 5:15pm central standard time)
