   that is a tough question to answer. It sounds like eventually, you are going to need to recover it to factory for sure.

   Make sure to back up the data that you need first.
   The registry errors may be a problem with your hard drive. If you are seeing NTFS problems, it may indicate imminent hard drive problems.

   – run a check disk right away
   – make sure to shut down the computer using the shut down button and not the power switch
   – try a 3rd party rerpair software such as tune up utilities:

   theres only one thing, that you have a computer virus, you need to get a virus scanner and get ride of it. if you can get on the Internet and look around for one, get one if you don’t have one. or you can go to a store and have them put a new hard drive in your computer. or they can get ride of the virus. my best bet is to go to radio shack.

   Sometimes malware can disable your security products. Try to run an online Antivirus scan from one of these sites to see if it picks up an infection.

   Also, some Registry Cleaners can flag critical files for removal. So if the online scans come up OK, you can try to run a SFC. What it does is that it will try to fix and replace corrupt or missing .dll files critical for your Operating System

   To run this go to:

   – Start
   – Run
   – Type in sfc /scannow (include the space before the " / ")

   It may prompt you for the operating system installation disk. If that is the case, then you know that you definitely have file corruption or something missing. Insert the disk if prompted.

   Don’t surf or run anything while SFC runs. After it is completed, reboot your computer.

   One of the major culprits in missing or corrupt operating system files is running a registry cleaner or optimizer. They can flag important shared files for deletion or cleanup. Another cause is malware.

   NOTE:

   Before running any registry cleaner, ensure you back it up first. If the registry cleaner you are using doesn’t have that function, you can do it manually.
