ITS AMAZING I found this for you. http://yourcares.info/93929/desktop-fan
I would try doing a system restore and see if that will yield any positive results since not all viruses are always caught during virus scans.

I have the same problem…most likely it’s a hardware problem than viruses. Download a cpu temp software to see if your cpu is running at high temp. Try to clean up your fan and heat sink to see if there is an improvement.
corrupt hardware is most probable reason a computer shuts down …sometimes ur cpu fan may not work properly..so it shuts down to save cpu from overheating and blowing up…chances that ur harddisk , ram or mother board are corrupt are there ..but some types of viruses too make it shut down ..maybe try another antivirus program or get ur system serviced
75% chances are that your RAM in currupt.. OR there is some virus
First, make sure that hardware is not outdated, it should not be very very old or primitive. Second, your system should not be full of viruses and spuwares and then one way to speed up your system is to select a good PC optimizer and System cleaner. And, there are many ways to boost performance of your system. A rather more traditional but comprehensive appraoch is to improve hardware and software capability of your system. So you may like to add ram, delete all software that you don’t use and you can download IObit Advanced SystemCare PRO 3 to make your System faster. This approach should work for almost all conditions. You would also like to make sure that you have virus free system.
