hi cha chi, i bet you formated the harddrive by yourself to get rid of that nasty ol virus but there is something that you should have done or that virus can still be in the machine and can destroy your computer if your not stopping it now. a little trick i learned but i only use it if i have a virus. don’t save your files right off because that virus could have gotten in those files. in control panel> system icon on the advanced tab you see performance set it to best suited for your system hit this notice that all the boxes are unchecked hit apply. then under memory still in advanced you see kernal hit the dropdown to the right and hit complete memory dump and hit apply now format your harddrive and it will stop what is happening with your pc. but first remove your virus protection first then the other proceedures. good luck hope i was helpful to you.
If you had clean your computer from a virus, then why not just format your C:drive only than having to suffer on this problem.
It doesnt anymore recognises your harware before going to startup.
Get an installation disk and ask for an assistance of good programer to work for you.
Make a report of the problem, maybe you can warranty this to your supplier.
hope this helps.
If it is Vista based just be patient and system restore will do the trick.
if you have xp try and use system restore and restore it back to a point when the computer did not do this.
pres F8 on start where the bios and start windows in safe mode and then run you antivirus, if that doesn’t fix it well reinstall it.
