   Keyboards form part of the user interface and a keyboard problem can be very annoying. Sometimes the keyboard drivers can get corrupted. Some of the problems can be fixed .    Either a Bad Keyboard, or the software associated with the keyboard is bad, or the driver is corrupt. Sometimes it might even have a different keyboard mapped to it

   -check for loose plug.
   -try another keyboard.
   -If using ps/2 keyboard try a USB kb.
   -Uninstall kb in Control Panel>System>Hardware>Device Manager, then restart pc. Windows will detect and reinstall drivers.
