   yahoo is probably running some form of java or activex script in the background that might be corrupted and screwing up.

   i would recommend downloading firefox or google chrome and using that browser and see if the same thing occurs.

   uninstall the yahoo toolbar also from your control panel / add-remove programs, it is garbage.

   There seems to be a script running in the background on email that’s causing the browser to run slowly. If/When you get a browser warning message, be sure to cancel the script.
