I have a h p and the vista 64 bit recovery partition is already preinstalled. Whenever i restore my computer, it already has all the video drivers preinstalled. Now, If i wanted to format the partition and reinstall with a clean fresh install of windows xp.. Will i still have to reinstall all the video drivers, mouse drivers and everything again? If so, Where are some links that i can use to start downloading drivers

You will have to install all of the drivers, though XP is really helpful when you first install your hardware with setting it up for you or at least helping you along with it.
You'll have to install the critical system drivers like the motherboard chipset, video, and any add-ins that may require 3rd-party drivers (storage controllers come to mind, as do wireless network adapters). Simple things like mice and keyboards (unless very, very fancy) do not need drivers. If you need drivers, go to HP's support website and search the model number of your computer (If it's a laptop, it'll be on the bottom on a sticker. If it's a desktop, it should be on the case on the front or back.)
Yes – you will need to download drivers for XP.
Go to http://www.hp.com and "support and drivers" link.
Enter your exact model number and it will show you the drivers that are available. There is not guarantee that HP will provide XP drivers for your model if it has only ever been sold with Vista on it.
