If your computer is sending you to a scam site, using alert balloons, pop-ups, a browser toolbar, or a hijack of your browser or your desktop screen, then you need to clean your computer with REAL antispyware software.
SUPERAntiSpyware spyware-removal software:

Spybot Search & Destroy spyware-removal software:

A Repair probably won’t fix it. You need to be sure all the spyware related files are gone before you waste your time repairing it.
Yes, Who Dares Win has the right idea. Get a good cleaner and get rid of the problem that way. #1 i do not think repairing will do anything, and #2 Barring you reinstalling the O/S, really cleaning is the only option.
Why repair why not clean it:
Normally your malware programs will delete these beasts. If this is not the case you should be aware that a lot of viruses, spyware & adware are designed to sit in RAM, the registry and System Restore and because of this will return even after deleting or re-booting. Removing can be a little time consuming but thankfully not impossible. Yes there are many sites offering solutions to removal but why not do the obvious yourself?
First of all you must turn off System Restore. This can be achieved by going to ‘Start’ > ‘My Computer’ > ‘Properties’ > Open the ‘System Restore’ tab then enable “Turn off system restore on all drives” > click apply > click ok.
It is now best to re-boot your computer in Safe Mode – (achieved by pressing F8 continually during boot up) this should clear out the malware in RAM and the registry.
You must now run your anti virus and anti spyware and anti adware software and delete or quarantine any viruses or spies found.
Re-boot your computer in normal mode and complete another virus check. If all comes back clean don’t forget to turn on System Restore.
