Well, window 7 comes with a 30-day trial. IF you simply install window 7 and use it for 30 days(on trial purpose), there’s no way , you are commiting a crime or doing an illegal work.
Some links for you(they are not torrent, just the trial download copy)
Enterprise Edition: http://technet.microsoft.com/hi-in/evalcenter/cc442495.aspx (90 day trial)
There’s no such thing as a LEGAL version of Windows 7 "free trial". Microsoft simply does not provide that kind of free trial.
Your dad probably has a very reputable business he has built. Don’t screw it up by loading torrent (illegal) copies of software on computers and get his business into trouble . Those users are going to be caught up in the trap when they go to activate windows and they can’t because it doesn’t have a license (product key) due to you loading illegal "free trial" copies.
If you want to help people, have them bring you their licensed copy of Windows and reload it for them. Make sure you inform them that reformatting their PC will destroy all files.
Yes, I think the trial version is legal.
the trial is free
you can download it from microsoft,i think
if you can’t then you can torrent it
Microsoft does not distribute any version of their OS online, to the general public anyways.
Torrents and that are pirated versions. If you want to be true to your statement you do not install pirate software, you do not install software you got from torrents or other file trading/downloads not associated with Microsoft or their agents or affiliates. Nor does Microsoft have a "Trial" version of their OS.
Your only legal option is to install the OS that came with that computer (the customer must provide the original media), or you must install the OS from legal media and product key, obtained from Microsoft, their agent, or an affiliate.
